Who we are
Openfarms Lab operates this public website. For questions about your information or a request to access, correct or delete it, email hello@openfarmslab.com.
Interest requests
When you submit an interest form, we collect your name, email, selected role and consent to be contacted. Phone, organization or farm, location and your message are optional. We use these details to review and respond to your request. The site stores submissions in Cloudflare D1 and uses Zoho ZeptoMail to send a confirmation when mail delivery is available. Submitting the form does not subscribe you to marketing emails.
We keep a request while needed to handle the enquiry and any continuing relationship, then review it for deletion. You can ask us to delete your details sooner, subject to any legal obligation to retain them.
Website chat
The chat answers company questions from reviewed responses or sends open questions to Cloudflare Workers AI. We do not save chat transcripts in the interest database. The service temporarily processes messages to answer them and uses hashed technical identifiers to enforce rate limits. Please do not put personal or sensitive details into chat; use the interest form for contact information.
Optional website analytics
If you choose Allow analytics, we count page views, internal navigation, chat openings and questions, and interest-form interactions. These are daily aggregate counts. The analytics table does not contain names, email addresses, chat messages, IP addresses or visitor IDs. Reports may also show totals by the audience selected in submitted interest forms; they do not link browsing activity to those submissions.
Analytics stays off until you choose to allow it. Choosing Decline analytics leaves the website and chat available. We remove counters older than 13 months when new analytics activity arrives. These counts cannot be used to identify or remove one person's past activity.
Cookies and your choice
The first-party of_analytics cookie remembers whether you allowed or declined analytics for 180 days. It does not contain a visitor identifier. You can change your choice at any time using Cookie settings in the footer. Withdrawing permission stops future analytics. We also respect browser Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals by keeping analytics off.
Service providers and security
Cloudflare hosts the website, database and AI chat service. It also processes standard request data, such as IP addresses, to deliver and protect the site; this is separate from our optional aggregate analytics. Zoho delivers transactional confirmation emails. These providers process information needed for those services. We restrict access to stored interest requests to authorized company operators and use HTTPS for site traffic.
Your choices and rights
You may decline or withdraw optional analytics, ask what personal details we hold from an interest request, or request correction or deletion. Contact hello@openfarmslab.com and we will review the request. You may also raise concerns with the relevant data protection authority.
